When the tread is worn to the level of TWI or 1.6 mm height, it is time to change the tyres. Also if you notice deep Cracks/Cuts on Sidewall, Bead, Shoulder or Tread area, It is time to change tyres irrespective of remaining tread.

Wheel balancing is the process of checking of the wheels on wheel balancing machine and putting equivalent weights to the lighter side to balance the wheel assembly.
